BSC Strength and Conditioning
Strength and Conditioning Internship Opportunity Located in Bill Battle Coliseum, the T.B. Pearson Sports Hall of Fame, along with a new Athletic Weight Room Facility were dedicated on January 11, 2006, and made possible by a generous gift from BSC Trustee Tom Lowder's family. The Athletic Weight Room Facility is located directly below the BSC Sports Hall of Fame and includes top-of-the-line Hammer Strength training equipment for BSC’s student-athletes.
BSC women's soccer all-conference performer, Jess Smith, was the fourth consecutive Panther to earn National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American honors in 2005-06. Prior winners were Sarah Martin (volleyball) in 2004-05 Kyndall Waters (volleyball) in 2002-03, and Shema Mbyirukira (men's basketball) in 2003-04. The Hall of Fame Room, in the upstairs portion of the facility, houses plaques and biographical information on all 129 BSC Sports Hall of Fame inductees, championship trophies and serves as a meeting/banquet room equipped with a state-of-the-art sound and video system.
