Sophomore Ashley Curry helped the women's basketball team defeat SAA rival Millsaps on Sunday with a BSC career-high 18 points. She was 3-3 from the field (including 2-2 from three-point range) and 10-12 at the free throw line, hitting several down the stretch to help BSC hold onto the lead for the win. Curry also had three rebounds, an assist, and no turnovers. Last week she also scored nine points in the Panthers' loss to Maryville at home for a weekly average of 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 6-8 (75 percent) from the field.
