SAA Announces Fall All-Sportsmanship Teams

ATLANTA – The Southern Athletic Association released the 2018 Fall Season All-Sportsmanship Teams on Thursday. One student-athlete from each fall sport represents their respective school on the all-sportsmanship squad.

The SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship, great character, and fair play among all competitors.

Six Panthers were named to the SAA Fall All-Sportsmanship Team:
Senior Blaine Loveless (Ringgold, Ga./Heritage HS)
Football

Sophomore Shannon Gilmore (Huntsville, Ala./St. John Paul II Catholic HS)
Volleyball

Freshman Alvin Finch (Homewood, Ala./Homewood HS)
Men's Cross Country

Junior Marjorie Head (Columbiana, Ala./Shelby County HS)
Women's Cross Country

Senior Brett Feringa (Covington, La./St. Paul's HS)
Men's Soccer

Sophomore Blakley Jones (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Holy Spirit Catholic HS)
Women's Soccer
