Andrea Dosedla joined the Birmingham-Southern staff in February 2013 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary sport responsibilities are volleyball, golf, swimming & diving, and men's and women's lacrosse. She is a nationally certified athletic trainer through NATABOC and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers.
Dosedla graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Following graduation, she continued to West Virginia University to pursue a Master of Science in Athletic Training. During her two years at WVU, Dosedla worked as a graduate assistant ATC at Healthworks physical therapy clinic, where she had experience working under their physical therapists and staff orthotist. As a graduate assistant ATC, she was assigned coverage to club sports and intramurals, including their Division I club men's ice hockey team who traveled to ACHA D1 nationals in 2012. She also received Level 1 Graston training during her time at WVU.
In her free time, Dosedla enjoys running, weight training, longboarding, and traveling to surf. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Maggie.
