Daniel Lindsey, a native of Opelika, Ala., joined Birmingham-Southern College in August 2014 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Daniel's primary responsibilities are men's and women's soccer, swimming and diving, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's and women's golf. Daniel is a nationally certified athletic trainer by the NATABOC and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers. Daniel is a M1 Graston Trained provider.
Daniel is a 2011 graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, and gained experience working with a variety of Troy's athletic teams, as well as Charles Henderson High School's football team. Upon graduation, Daniel went on to serve has a graduate assistant and intern athletic trainer with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, while pursuing his Master's in Exercise Physiology. During his three years at UAB, Daniel had the pleasure of working with football, track and field, and women's tennis. He has also served as an athletic trainer for the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, Calif., and the 2014 USA Football Bowl in Hoover, Ala.
In his free time Daniel enjoys being playing golf and spending time with friends and family. He and his wife, Brittany, were married March 2012, and the couple resides in Hoover, Ala.
