Sarah Erreca was named Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance on June 1, 2016, after serving as Assistant A.D. for Media Relations since 2008. Prior to being named Assistant A.D., she served as Assistant Sports Information Director from 2004-2008.
Before coming to BSC, Erreca worked as a media relations intern at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., where she served as the primary athletic media relations contact for men’s and women’s soccer, cross country, and track and field. She also served as the secondary contact for softball, but assisted with all 17 Chanticleer sports.
Prior to her term at CCU, Erreca served as a sports information intern at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she handled athletic media relations services for women’s soccer, cross country, and tennis for the Eagles. During her term with Embry-Riddle, she served as the media relations liaison for the NAIA National Golf Championships in 2003.
Erreca, a native of Richlands, N.C., is a 2002 graduate of Duke University. She resides in McCalla, Ala., with her husband, Michael, and daughters Abigail (6) and Charlotte (3).
