BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Shooting over 62 percent from the field, the Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team moved to 4-0 with an 87-67 victory against Covenant College, Saturday evening in Bill Battle Coliseum. The Scots fell to 1-2 on the season with the loss.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—In exclusive voting by the league's head coaches, Birmingham-Southern's Bastian Jedliczka has been named the Southern Athletic Association Men's Soccer Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Year, it was announced today. Additionally, eight Panthers, including Jedliczka, were named to the All-Conference teams.

ROME, Ga.—Sophomore Chris Roberts became Birmingham-Southern's first-ever NCAA Cross Country Championship qualifier on Saturday, placing 12th at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional, hosted by Berry College in Rome, Ga. The Panther men placed 10th as a team, and the women were 15th.
