Hannah Busk named CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America, Panthers earn Scholar All-America Team honors
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Swimmer Hannah Busk has been named Honorable Mention Scholar All-America by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced today. Additionally, the Birmingham-Southern men's and women's swimming and diving teams both were named Scholar All-America Teams by the CSCAA.

Baseball announces 2014 recruiting class
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern Baseball will welcome six new faces in the fall of 2014, the Panther coaching staff announced today. The group of six, including brothers Luke and Ross Anderson, will complement the 27 returners from the 2014 Panther squad that went 35-12 and won the Southern Athletic Association regular season and tournament titles and appeared in the NCAA South Regional.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern's Miles Nordgren was selected by the Minnesota Twins on Saturday in the 2014 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, becoming BSC's third player in the last four seasons to be selected.

DELAWARE, Ohio—Birmingham-Southern track and field standouts Elizabeth Bromirski and Hank Ballard both competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championship this weekend in Delaware, Ohio, with Bromirski finishing 13th in the high jump and Ballard placing 16th in the javelin.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Junior hurler Blake Stevens added yet another honor to his resume this week as he was voted South Region Pitcher of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). Stevens and senior pitcher Miles Nordgren also earned First-Team honors, while junior pitcher/infielder David Bourbonnais and junior catcher Jacob Mayfield were named Third-Team All-Region.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The No. 15 Birmingham-Southern baseball team will face Bridgewater College in the opening round of the NCAA South Regional, Wednesday at 7 p.m. Eastern in Demorest, Ga.
