    Panther Profile: Kameren Morgan, Track and Field BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Kameron Morgan (Bowie, Maryland/ St. Albans School for Boys) is a sophomore at Birmingham-Southern College pursuing his track and field career while also pursuing a degree in pre-engineering with an art minor. Morgan attended St. Alban’s School for Boys from fourth to 12th grade. When people hear engineering they automatically think “big plans”, well Morgan is not only thinking “big” in terms of school.

    BSC Outlasts Berry in 83-76 Overtime Thriller BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s basketball team fought through a tough battle with Berry College Sunday afternoon in their second overtime bout this season to win 83-76. The Panthers are now 7-9 overall and move to 3-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.

    Panthers Stay Undefeated in SAA, Top Berry 70-47 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team moved to 5-0 in Southern Athletic Conference play Sunday with its 70-47 win over Berry College in Bill Battle Coliseum. The Panthers are now 10-6 overall on the year.

    BSC Has Big Day at UAB Vulcan Invite BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s indoor track and field team competed tough at the UAB Vulcan Invite Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Despite being one of two NCAA Division III programs to participate in the meet, the Panthers earned five top 15 finishes, including three top three performances.

    Panthers Battle Against Top Ranked Emory BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s and women’s swimming and diving tea­­ms competed well Saturday against Emory University, whose women are the top ranked team in the country and men who are No. 2 after the first half of the season.

    Men Defeat Oglethorpe 82-68, Move to 2-2 in SAA BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s basketball team jumped out to a quick lead against Southern Athletic Association rival Oglethorpe University and never looked back. The Panthers cruised to an 82-68 win Friday night to improve to 6-9 overall and 2-2 in SAA play.

    Women Win Fifth Straight, Defeat Oglethorpe 64-55 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team handed Oglethorpe University its first Southern Athletic Association loss of the season Friday night. The Panthers won 64-55 to improve to 9-6 on the year and 4-0 in SAA play. Oglethorpe dropped to 9-6, 3-1 SAA with the loss.

    Men Top Sewanee; Women Split Competition BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s swimming and diving team defeated Southern Athletic Association rival Sewanee 178-92, while the women split their day at the Birmingham CrossPlex Friday afternoon. They defeated Sewanee 174-115, but fell to University of West Florida 181-103.

    Panthers Fend Off Hendrix in 54-53 Win CONWAY, Ark. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team picked up its third Southern Athletic Association win Sunday afternoon as they held off Hendrix University 54-53 on the road. BSC improved to 8-6 overall, 3-0 in the SAA with the win.

    Women Win Third in a Row; Top Rhodes 61-48 MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team went on a 22-8 run in the fourth quarter to defeat Rhodes College 61-48 Friday night. The win was the Panthers third consecutive and second against a Southern Athletic Association opponent. They improved to 7-6 overall with the win, 2-0 in the SAA.

    Panthers Rout Agnes Scott 70-38 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Everyone contributed to the Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team’s 70-38 rout of Agnes Scott College Tuesday night at home in Bill Battle Coliseum. This is the fewest points BSC has allowed an opponent this season. The Panthers are now 6-6 on the year. Agnes Scott moved to 1-5 overall.

    Men Ranked No. 21 Nationally, No. 8 in Region BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s swimming and diving teams appeared in rankings released by collegeswimming.com and the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The men are No. 21 nationally and sit eighth in the West-Midwest-South Region.

    Panthers Ranked After Fall Season; Petro No. 42 in Nation BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Both the Birmingham-Southern College men’s and women’s tennis teams closed out a competitive fall season by receiving national recognition. The women rank 10th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association South Region, while the men are ranked 13th.

    Panther Profile: Bethany Kuerten BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bethany Kuerten (Auburn, Ala./ Auburn High School) is a senior soccer student-athlete at Birmingham-Southern College. After completing four seasons on the pitch for the Panthers, she has decided in her senior year to stay active and join the track and field team this spring. She will participate in the 800m and 400m races, while also competing in the long jump.
