Williamson leads women's cross country at Great American Festival

HOOVER, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's cross country team finished fourth at the Great American Cross Country Festival, Oct. 11, at Veterans Park in Hoover, Ala.
Mary Elaine Williamson led the Panthers, finishing 11th with a 5k time of 19:56.9, followed by Emily Moore at 24th with a time of 21:56.4 and Caitlin Hodges at 25th with a time of 22:05.1. Katie Sack (22:16.5), Katelyn Carroll (22:24.1), and Maggie Zernick (22:28.0) placed 27th, 28th, and 29th.
