MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern rifle team opened its season this past weekend at the Tiger Invitational in Memphis, Tenn., placing seventh overall with a team score of 2109. Nikita Dees was the Panthers' top finisher, coming in 15th with a score of 576.

Baylee Dodson was BSC's second shooter, placing 39th (560), followed by Ginny Boehme at 59th (525), Diana Wilmoth at 62nd (511), Janelle West at 68th (489), and Susanne Sturdivant at 70th (462).

The Panthers are at home this Thursday, Oct. 9, hosting UAB at 6 p.m. at the BSC Rifle Range.
