BSC hires McGarrigle as assistant women's lacrosse coach

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Emily Thomas announced on Tuesday the hiring of Jaclyn McGarrigle as the new assistant women's lacrosse coach.
McGarrigle comes to BSC after spending the 2007-2008 at Point Pleasant Borough High School in Point Pleasant, N.J. She coached the Freshman Field Hockey squad and was the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach and head Boys' and Girls' Varsity Winter Track Coach during her tenure.
She played collegiate lacrosse at Rowan University from 2003-2007, where she was a three-year starting defender. McGarrigle prepped at Toms River North High school from 1999-2003 prior to Rowan, starting three seasons at defender. She was voted Team Captain and Most Valuable Player while earning First-Team All-Shore Conference and First-Team All-County as a senior.
McGarrigle graduated from Rowan University in 2007 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science Teachers Certification and Teachers Certification in Drivers Education.
