BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - BSC Head Women's Soccer Coach Benji Walton announced his first new commitment for 2009 today from Heather Sullivan of Tallahassee, Fla., who has completed her intent to enroll in the College and play for the Panthers this fall.
Heather is a four-year starting Midfielder at Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee. She was named All Big Bend second team in her sophomore and junior seasons, the same seasons she helped her squad to two district championships. She has received the Game-winner Award as well as the Student-Athlete Academic Award twice.
Heather comes to the Hilltop with a wealth of club experience as well. Since 2000 she has played with Tallahassee United Futbol Club, as well as stints with ASG-Florida, the Gainsville Glory, Pensacola FC – participating in the 2006 Stones River Region III Championship, and winning the 2005 Florida's Presidents Cup Championship with Tallahassee United.

"Heather came to BSC last summer for camp and fell in love with the campus. Her attitude and personality should fit in well with our team."
