Volleyball splits at SCAC East/Central Divisional
Junior setter Christine Denning recorded 67 assists in two matches today.

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern volleyball team split at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference East/Central Divisonal No. 2, hosted by Centre College, Saturday, with a 3-2 loss to Centre and a 3-1 win against Oglethorpe University.
The Panthers now stand at 13-14 on the season.
BSC lost to Centre by the scores of 25-16, 13-25, 28-30, 25-18, 11-15. Senior Sarah Harris led with 20 kills, junior Christine Denning led with 47 assists, and junior Jennifer McKannan led with 21 digs.
The Panthers then defeated Oglethorpe by the scores of 25-14, 25-15, 27-29, 25-9. Freshman Shelby Moore led with 13 kills and freshman Presley Dickson led with 20 digs. Denning and freshman Lauren Reibe each posted 20 assists, sophomore Haley Johnson posted six aces, and Moore and sophomore Hope Harris led with five blocks apiece.

Action continues tomorrow as the Panthers face DePauw University at 9 a.m. ET, and Millsaps College at 1 p.m. ET.
