Women's Cross Country places fifth at Greater Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Birmingham-Southern women's cross country team turned in a fifth-place finish among 35 teams this past weekend at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.
Junior Mary Elaine Williamson was the top finisher for the Panthers, placing 18th with a 5K time of 19:26.01. Junior Caitlin Hodges finished 34th with a time of 19:59.09, followed by junior Aly Goldfarb at 55th (in a field of nearly 300 runners) with a time of 20:32.58.
The Panthers accumulated 224 points to place fifth, behind Kentucky, Lindenwood, Queens University of Charlotte, and Greenville College.
