BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -
BSC women's soccer honored its three seniors tonight as Lydia Rice, Serena Murphy and Ruth Hanks were all recognized for their careers on the Hilltop.  The three seniors helped their team to a 2-1 come-from-behind win over the University of Dallas in tonight's match.

Dallas got on the board early in the match off an unassisted goal from Melissa Carpenter.  The Panthers remained scoreless for the remainder of the first half despite numerous attempts on the Crusader goal.  UD took the 1-0 advantage into halftime.

After the break the Panthers were able to get on the board.  Four minutes into the frame senior Lydia Rice sent the ball to Linda Amaya who got the game tied at one, slipping the ball past the Dallas keeper.  Sarah Menton was able to put the Panthers over the top for their twelfth win of the season in the 77th-minute with an unassisted goal from the right side.

The Panthers will return Sunday for the final game of the 2009 season, and the final game for their three captains, as BSC hosts SCAC-rival Austin College.  Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at BSC Soccer Park.
