Dion Watts named to SCAC Football All-Sportsmanship Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior wide receiver Dion Watts has been named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Football All-Sportsmanship Team, the league office announced today.
Watts, a Birmingham native, is a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. He made five catches this season and scored one touchdown for the Panthers.
Each head coach was asked to elect one member from their team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season.
The SCAC places a special emphasis on sportsmanship each year and is asking all fans of the conference to exhibit good sportsmanship at all conference functions throughout the 2009-2010 season. Read the SCAC Presidents' Council statement on Fan Sportsmanship.
