Men's and Women's Golf results from Samford, Butler

Men's Round 1 | Women's Round 1
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Both BSC golf programs are on the road today in separate tournaments. The men are at the Samford Intercollegiate at Limestone Springs Golf Course in Oneonta, Ala. The ladies are at Butler in Jacksonville, Fla. in the North/South Women's Collegiate. After round one, the women are in seventh place overall and the men are in 14th with play continuing today.
Jordan Hardy turned in the best round for the women, tied for 10th place overall with a 77 (7-over par). Ashley Lovell sits one stroke back on her teammate at 77, tied for 17.
Nick Blakely shot a 153 for the Panthers, finishing round one tied for 46 in the field loaded with Division I programs. Matthew Barnes is three strokes behind Blakely with a 156, tied for 57.
Round two is being played today in their respective locales. Results will be posted as they become available.
