Rand Hutchison named to SCAC All-Sportsmanship

SUWANEE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its inaugural Baseball All-Sportsmanship team. Eleven baseball players were selected to the 2009 squad.
The SCAC is placing a special emphasis on sportsmanship this year – asking all fans of the conference to exhibit good sportsmanship at all conference functions throughout the 2008-2009 season.
Each coach was asked to elect one member from their team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season.
Rand Hutchison is BSC's selection to this year's team. Coach Jan Weisberg had this to say: “This award is well deserved and a testament to Rand’s approach to the game. He is a selfless team player whose work ethic is second to none. He exemplifies class in all that he does both on and off the field. Rand is a model of what college athletics, and student athletes in particular, can and should embody. Our entire program is very happy for Rand in being awarded this honor.”
