BSC, Lovell in first place after first round of Sewanee Fall Classic

WINCHESTER, Tenn. - The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team stands in first place at the Sewanee Fall Classic after the first round of play, Saturday, at The Bear Trace at Tim's Ford in Winchester, Tenn. The Panthers shot 328 today and lead second-place Piedmont by 25 shots.

 

Junior Ashley Lovell also leads all players after shooting 79 today, sophomore Jennifer Commander is in third place after carding 82, and freshman Michelle Morris is in fourth place with an 83 in her first college tournament. Morris also made a hole-in-one on the par-three 13th hole today. Sophomore Gaukhar Amandossova stands in fifth place with an 84.
