MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Birmingham-Southern women's cross country team finished second and the men finished seventh, Saturday, at the Rhodes College Cross Country Invitational.
Junior Mary Elaine Williamson was the top finisher for the women, finishing fifth with a time of 20:07, followed by junior Caitlin Hodges at 10th with a time of 20:39.
For the men, freshman Robert Willett was the top finisher, coming in 21st with a time of 28:58, followed by junior Will Gurley at 22nd with a time of 28:59.
Both teams are in action again next Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.
