Steve Meyer joins softball staff

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Head Coach Kimball Cassady has announced the addition of pitching coach Steve Meyer to her staff.
Meyer comes to the Hilltop after two seasons as the pitching coach at Hewitt Trussville High School. Before helping the Huskies to two area championships in 2009 and 2010, Meyer served as guest pitching instructor for SCAC-rival Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. He has also worked with the Samford University Pitching Clinics, coached at Cooper City High School and club softball in south Florida, and as a private pitching instructor in Birmingham.
Coach Cassady is excited to welcome Coach Meyer to her staff, “we are thrilled to have Steve join our program. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in pitching instruction making him a excellent teacher for our pitchers.”
