Drew Crofton named Co-Pitcher of the Week by SCAC

SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference office has named BSC pitcher #Drew Crofton# its Co-Pitcher of the Week for the period ending April 5th. Crofton shares the honor with Oglethorpe's Daniel Sarisky.

Crofton (5-0) pitched six dominant innings in the Panthers’ 6-2 win over DePauw on April 4. He struck out eight, yielded just two hits, one run (unearned) and walked none.

The honor is the second such award for a Panther player this season. #Drew Leachman# was named SCAC Player of the Week back in week six.

The Panthers return to Striplin Field tomorrow for a single game with Piedmont College. First-pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
