Panthers add John Lawroski to baseball roster

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Jan Weisberg has announced the addition of John Lawroski to the BSC baseball team for next season.

Lawoski was a four-year letter winner at Trinity Catholic School in Ocala, Fla.  While at Trinity, John helped his team to four straight district championships at short stop and center field.  In his final district championship game he hit a walk-off home run to win the game and complete the cycle (a single, double, triple, and home run in one game).

John was named to the All-County and All-State teams all four years, named Rookie of the Year in 2006, and the FHSAA All State Athletic Team.  His senior season, John had a .500 batting average with 33 stolen bases, 37 runs scored, and 25 RBIs.

In the classroom John was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, Leadership of Marion County Youth, and has a 4.3 G.P.A.  John also lettered in track, basketball, and football at Trinity.

John will also join the Panther football team on the field this fall.
