Panthers set for a full weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The BSC baseball team will host five games in four days starting Saturday at Striplin Field.

The Panthers (7-1) will start things off on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with two seven inning games with the Wabash Little Giants. Wabash’s game with the Panthers will be their first of the season thanks to weather delays at home.

Sunday will be a full day of baseball. Wabash and Adrian College will kick things off in the morning at 11:00 a.m. The Panthers will then meet up with Wabash again at 2:00 before taking on Adrian themselves at  5:00.

Adrian will be back again on Monday afternoon for a second game with the Panthers at 3:00. The Bulldogs will be playing their first game of the season on Sunday. They are currently ranked 11th in the NCBWA Pre-season poll. The Panthers are receiving votes, but have not yet cracked the top 25. The poll is available here.

The Panthers will wrap up the extended weekend on Tuesday afternoon with a 6:00 single with Berry College. The Vikings are 11-5 on the season and are just beginning their transition to Division III.

Live stats will be available for all six games, including the Wabash-Adrian game on Saturday, the link is available at the top of the homepage or at this direct link.
