No. 11 Panthers head to Rhodes for three

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The BSC baseball team will travel up to Memphis for a three-game series with the Rhodes College Lynx beginning on Saturday.

The Panthers are 25-4 on the season and 8-1 atop the SCAC East Division standings for the second year in a row. The Lynx (20-11, 9-5 SCAC) currently sit in second place in the East with just six games to play. BSC can really open up some space on the rest of the field with a solid performance this weekend.

Rhodes remains one of the biggest hurdles to the Panthers repeating their Division Championship. They are the only other East Division team with 20-plus wins on the season. They are 9-3 at Stauffer Field this season, including a three-game sweep of Oglethorpe earlier in the year.

Game one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with Sunday’s double header also scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Stauffer Field on the Rhodes campus. Live Stats are available through the Lynx website at this link.
