Panthers move into top 10 in this week's polls

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Panthers continue to climb in the national rankings, jumping seven spots to number six in both the ABCA and polls released Tuesday.

The No. 6 Panthers posted five wins last week improving to 33-4 on the season.  Their 33 wins ties for the most wins in Division III.  Only
Shenandoah in Virginia has as many wins as the Panthers, but with the Hornets' seven losses the Panthers have the superior winning percentage (.892 to .825) resulting in BSC's higher ranking in both polls.

The Panthers also received some first place votes for the first time this season, garnering three in the poll and one in the ABCA Coaches' Poll.

Trinity is the only other SCAC team ranked in this week's polls at 15th and 19th.
