Baseball announces first commitment for 2011

BIRMIGHAM, Ala. - Austin Justice, a 5-10 170 pound infielder from Hewitt-Trussville High School, has announced his intent to enroll at BSC.

Justice was a .392 hitter with 20 doubles, 10 triples, six home runs and 25 stolen bases over the course of his varsity career. He was named to the Birmingham News All-Metro Northeast Team in 2009 and participated in the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association “All-Star” Week in 2009. Justice was also a two-year letterman (2008-2009) on the Huskies football team as a wide receiver.

Justice is graduating this Spring with a 4.56 GPA and is ranked 4th in his class of over 300 students. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and was named to the Birmingham News All-Academic Team in 2009.
