Bruce Maxwell named MVP of Prospect League Collegiate All-Star Game
BECKLEY, W.Va.—Birmingham-Southern baseball standout Bruce Maxwell, who plays for the Nashville Outlaws of the Prospect League, was named MVP of the Collegiate League All-Star Game last night.
Maxwell played first base in the game and got the most number of votes for MVP. He was 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBI in six innings of action. Maxwell was one of 20 players selected to the West Division Mid-Season All-Star Team. Prospect League action continues throughout the remainder of the summer.
