Baseball welcomes 15 new Panthers for 2014 season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern baseball team will have plenty of new faces in 2013-14 as the Panthers will welcome 15 new players when students return to campus on August 24.

The incoming class will be greeted by 23 returning players from the 2013 squad, which posted a 29-15 record and advanced to the inaugural Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship series.

The newest class of Panthers includes seven pitchers, five infielders, two outfielders, and one catcher. The class represents four states with players coming from Alabama (6), Georgia (6), Tennessee (2) and Florida (1).

The members of the class of 2017 are listed below:
