SAA Tournament: BSC Shutout by Berry in Seven Innings

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern baseball team dropped its second round SAA Tournament game against top seed Berry College 15-0, ending the game in seven innings.

The top seed Vikings scored seven runs in the second, five runs in the third and three runs in the fourth while shutting out the Panthers.

BSC managed just one hit in the game.

Birmingham-Southern drops down to the loser's bracket and will face the winner of the Friday afternoon Hendrix and Millsaps game. The BSC and Hendrix/Millsaps game will be played at 7 p.m. ET on Friday night.

The winner of BSC's next game will advance to the semifinals to face Berry on Saturday.
