BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern baseball team was ranked No. 23 in the latest National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) / D3baseball.com top 25 poll on Tuesday.
The Panthers started the season unranked but have progressed each week, receiving votes in last week's poll to upgrading to No. 23 in this week's poll.
The Panthers are on a hot streak at the moment, winning 11 straight games leading up to the announcement of Tuesday's rankings.
Birmingham-Southern will look to continue its momentum and continue moving up the rankings as it faces Emory in a midweek game Tuesday and then hosting Southern Athletic Association foe Rhodes over the weekend.
