BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern baseball team was ranked No. 20 in the nation in the latest D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) poll released on Tuesday.
The Panthers moved up two spots from No. 22 to their new ranking at No. 20. It is the highest ranking for the team this season.
BSC, which boasts an overall record of 34-11, is coming off its first Southern Athletic Association Tournament Championship since 2016, defeating Rhodes 11-4 and 6-3 at Striplin Field on Sunday and Monday to hoist the trophy.
Birmingham-Southern has earned a spot in the NCAA Regionals and awaits the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, May 12.
