J.D. Hulse
J.D. Hulse
Title: Assistant Baseball Coach

J.D. Hulse, a 2011 graduate of BSC, in in his first year on the coaching staff of the Birmingham-Southern baseball program. He is responsible for coaching outfielders and baserunners. Additionally, he assists with the development and implementation of BSC's strength and conditioning program and will serve as the team's first-base coach.

Hulse was a four-year starter for the Panthers in center field. His play earned All-Conference honors in 2008, 2010, and 2011. He was a .338 career hitter with 11 home runs, 101 RBIs and 68 stolen bases. Hulse is ranked seventh in BSC history in runs scored and sixth in triples. His career marks will also go in the SCAC record books as 10th in runs scored and ninth in stolen bases.

Hulse graduated with a degree in Psychology. He is a native of Roswell, Ga.
