BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With its first home game of the season coming up this weekend, the Birmingham-Southern football team is hard at work preparing to take on LaGrange College this Saturday at noon at Vestavia Hills HS in Vestavia Hills, Ala.
Football continues preparation for LaGrange
“We had a lack of concentration today in practice with a lot of mental and physical mistakes,” head coach Eddie Garfinkle said. “Our players need to realize that the reason LaGrange College scheduled Birmingham-Southern is because they are confident their third year football program will defeat our second year program. Looking at last year's scores, LaGrange was in a lot of close games against very good competition. We will have to play a lot better than we did last week in order to have a chance to win against LaGrange.”
