Football returns home to face No. 19 Trinity, Saturday
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern (1-2) football team was on the field today for its final full practice before facing No. 19 Trinity University (3-0) this Saturday at noon at Regions Park in Hoover.
"We had a good week of practice overall," head coach Eddie Garfinkle said. "Today we went out in shells and polished the game plan. It will be interesting to see how the two open dates in September affect the team, considering we only played two games last month."
The Panthers' last game was on the road against Rhodes College, Sept. 20, when BSC lost 35-7. Prior to that, BSC was at home against LaGrange College, Sept. 6, and lost a 34-31 heartbreaker.
