Football to feature live internet broadcasts by Josh Caray for 2010 season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern football will feature live streaming internet broadcasts for all 10 of its games this season. Play-by-play will be provided by Josh Caray.

Caray has previously worked with the San Angelo Colts, a United League Baseball program in San Angelo, Texas, where he provided pre-game and post-game coverage as well as play-by-play. He also worked with the California Winter League and has done radio work for the Rome Braves, Clear Channel Atlanta, and Guilford College. Caray also has television experience with the Gwinnett Braves, RJPSports.com, and CSS.

Caray is a 2004 graduate of Oglethorpe University and comes from a long line of sports broadcasters. His late father, Skip Caray, was the long-time radio and television broadcaster for the Atlanta Braves, and his late grandfather was Harry Caray, legendary voice of the Chicago Cubs. Josh’s brother Chip also currently does play-by-play for the Braves.

The free online broadcasts will be accessible through www.bscsports.net and will begin approximately 15 minutes before kick-off of each game, both at home and on the road.
