2012:  Started nine of 10 games in the secondary...led the team with 70 tackles, and 42 solo tackles, two interceptions and three pass deflections...had 11 tackles against Wesley and 10 versus Sewanee and recorded nine stops against Huntingdon and Austin College...intercepted passes against Centre and Ave Maria.

2011:  First-Team All-SCAC... D3football.com Third-Team All-South Region... CoSIDA Academic All-Region... started in all nine games... led the squad with 67 tackles (41 solo, 26 assisted)... five tackles-for-losses of seven yards... four interceptions for 52 yards... three pass break-ups... one forced fumble.

2010:  Second-Team All-SCAC... played and started 10 games his sophomore year... had four interceptions for a total of 105 yards... scored twice off interceptions... led the team with 68 tackles (41 solo and 27 assisted)... had three pass break-ups, seven pass deflections and two forced fumbles... four tackles for a loss of 12 yards... SCAC Academic Honor Roll member.

2009:  Named Second-Team All-SCAC... played in all 10 and started eight games as a junior... one touchdown on a fumble return... 30 solo and 26 assisted tackles for 56 total... two tackles for a loss of nine yards... four broken up passes... two fumble recoveries...made the SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Pre-BSC:  Transferred to BSC after one season at Mississippi State, where he was a member of the Dean’s List and named Academic All-SEC... played under coach Hal Riddle at Hewitt-Trussville High School... 2007 team captain and All-Metro selection at Hewitt-Trussville in 2007... also lettered in baseball, serving as team captain in 2008... member of National Honor Society and A-B Honor Roll.

Personal:  Born on Jan. 31, 1990... son of Keith Shannon and Pam Shannon... has two brothers, Cole and Connor, and a sister, Caroline... uncle, Phil Allman, played football for the University of Alabama from 1974-78... uncle, Chris Allman, played baseball for the University of Alabama from 1982-84... majoring in business administration.
