2012:  Made the SAA Academic Honor Roll...played in two games as a reserve offensive lineman.

2011:  Played on the junior varsity squad as a freshman... SCAC Academic Honor Roll member.

Pre-BSC:  Played for Coach Les Sanders at Luverne High School, where he was 2010 Offensive and Defensive Team Captain... recipient of the 2011 U.S. Army National Scholar-Athlete Award... also received the 2011 Billy Beasley Scholar-Athlete Award... Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society member.

Personal:  Son of Michael and Violet Shelton... born on Dec. 16, 1992... has a younger brother, Colby... majoring in business administration.
