Stainback named SAA Offensive Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga.—Senior quarterback Jimmy Stainback has been named Southern Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today.

Stainback threw for 250 yards and a single-game record three touchdowns against Austin College on Saturday, helping the No. 11 Panthers remain undefeated at 5-0 on the season. He went 12-17 with one interception in the game.

Stainback and the Panthers are on the road this weekend, traveling to face No. 6 Wesley College on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. Eastern in Dover, Del.
