BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern football team returns home this week to host Stetson University, Saturday at 1 p.m. on Battle Field at Panther Stadium.

BSC is 0-2 after falling to Huntingdon on the road last week in the Wesley Cup Game, 29-12. Stetson, a non-scholarship Division I program, is 1-2 after dropping two straight games at home, including a 49-0 loss to Mercer last weekend.

Sophomore tailback Samir Usman leads the Panther offensive effort with three touchdowns, while senior tailback Joe Moultrie leads with 240 rushing yards. Sophomore quarterback Austin Martin is 28-56 with 361 yards and one touchdown. The BSC defense is led by senior LaPrintence Gunn with 19 tackles (17 solo) and two interceptions.

The Hatters have six different offensive players with one touchdown apiece, including sophomore quarterback Ryan Tentler, who is 29-54 with 280 yards. Sophomore running backs Cole Mazza and A.J. Washington lead with 91 yards rushing apiece, and Mazza owns one of the team's touchdowns. Sophomore receiver Chris Crawford also has a touchdown catch and leads the team with 109 yards receiving.

Saturday will be the second meeting between the two programs; BSC won last year's contest in Deland, Fla., 49-34.

The game will have a live video broadcast courtesy of Stretch Internet, with Landrum Roberts on play-by-play, as well as a free game tracker, both available at bscsports.net. The game will also be broadcast on the Stetson Hatters Radio Network.

After this weekend, Birmingham-Southern opens Southern Athletic Association play by traveling to face Hendrix College, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. in Conway, Ark.
