Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Nolan Coulter was named the Panthers’ running backs coach at the beginning of February 2018.

In Coulter’s first season with the Panthers he helped improve a running attack by 53.6 yards per game. BSC also finished second in the Southern Athletic Association with 21 rushing touchdowns during the 2018 season. Under Coulter’s guidance, running back Zack Seay earned all-conference honors. Seay tied the school record twice during the 2018 season, rushing for three touchdowns in a single game.

He previously served as a student assistant coach at Centre College, working with the running backs. Last season, Coulter assisted in coaching two running backs that finished top three in rushing yards per game in the Southern Athletic Association.  As a player for Centre, Coulter was a part of an offense that set many school records over four consecutive years. He rushed for over 2,700 yards and more than 30 touchdowns as a player.

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Coulter graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School in 2013 and Centre College in 2017.
