AARON PARR OF BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE, a sophomore guard from
Parr averaged 20.5 points per game in two games at Birmingham-Southern Black Tie Club Classic. He shot 11-18 (66.1%) from the field, 5-of-10 from beyond the arc and added 7 rebounds 6 assists and one steal
Parr was also named Classic MVP of the Black Tie Club Classic after leading BSC in scoring both days of the classic. His 26 points on Sunday was the most points scored by any player in the four games of the classic. Parr is the returning leading scorer from last season, and looks good early to repeat again this season. (Nathan West is second right now with 29 points). His clutch free throw shooting allowed BSC to hold on to slim leads throughout the Classic and helped build to the decisive wins that resulted.
BSC will travel to LaGrange on Wednesday before returning to the Battle on Friday to host Emory at 7:00 p.m.
