BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team is at home this Monday, Dec. 1, facing Otterbein College at 7 p.m. in Bill Battle Coliseum.
The Panthers are 3-2 on the season after most recently losing to Rhodes College, Tuesday evening. Sophomore Aaron Parr leads the team averaging 17.3 points a game, while juniors Roger Williams and Nathan West are also averaging double digits with 11.4 and 11.0 points a contest, respectively. Williams also leads in rebounding with 4.4 caroms a game, and Parr leads with 4.0 assists a contest.
Otterbein stands at 0-2 with close losses to Christopher Newport and Wesley, both by four points or less. Against Christopher Newport, Brian Pollock led with 29 points and Steve Isaac led with seven rebounds, and against Wesley, Pollock led with 28 points and Cory Ratai led with nine boards. Four Cardinals, including Pollock, are averaging double-figure scoring heading into Monday's game against BSC.
After Monday's game, the Panthers are idle until Dec. 13, when they will take on Southeastern Bible College at 7 p.m. at home in Bill Battle.
