Zac Richards named to Capital One Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Junior Zac Richards has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Richards, a forward from Hoover, Ala., has helped lead the 11th-ranked Panthers to an 18-1 record so far this season. He leads the team in field goal percentage (.615) and rebounding (6.3rpg) and is second on the team in scoring (11.7ppg).

Richards maintains a 3.66 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a mathematics/pre-engineering major.
