ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team moved to 11-12 overall after falling 65-59 on the road at Oglethorpe University Friday night. The Panthers are now 7-5 in Southern Athletic Association play with the loss, and remain in third place in the league.
James McLean (Maitland, Fla./Winter Park HS) led with a team=high 15 points. Calvin Bak (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals HS) and Harrison Deneka (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) also finished in double-figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Deneka grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds to complete the double-double.
The Panthers close out their conference road schedule on Sunday, Feb. 12 at Berry College in a doubleheader with the women's team. The men tipoff at 3 p.m. local time.
