Men's Golf finishes tied for seventh at Jekyll Island

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational this weekend.

The Panthers shot a combined 901 over the three-round event to finish the event tied for seventh in the 27 team field.

Nick Blakely led the Panthers, shooting a 217 for the tournament, finishing one over par in a tie for fifth place.

The Panthers will close out the 2009-10 season on April 12 at the Emory Spring Invitational at the Stone Mountain Golf Course in Stone Mountain, Ga.
