BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The BSC men's golf team finished second overall at the 2009 BSC Fall Shootout, finishing five strokes behind tournament winner, Huntingdon College.
The Hawks took first place with a three round combined score of 893. The Panthers finished at 898 while the Rhodes College Lynx rounded out the top three at 901.
William Carey's Matt Hungerman finished atop the individual leader board, shooting a combined 218 for the tournament (2-over par). Faulker's Erik Hilde (221), LaGrange's Hudson Keener (223), Huntingdon's Chase Rogers (223), Lee University's Sam Bedwell (223), and Rhodes' Shay Womack (223) also made the All-Tournament team finishing in second and tied for third overall.
BSC's #Clay Bounds# and #Josh Rabbit# finished one stroke away from the All-tournament at 224 for all three rounds. They finished in a four-way-tie for seventh place.
The Panthers will return to the links on October 19-20th for the UNA Fall Classic in Destin, Florida. The tournament will be hosted by the University of North Alabama.
