SAA Tournament: Panthers in Fifth After Round Two

DICKSON, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team is in fifth place after round two of the 2019 Southern Athletic Association Tournament on Saturday.

The Panthers improved on their round one score of 305, shooting 302 as a team, but BSC dropped a position from fourth to fifth after day two.

Junior Blake Schambeau (Hoover, Ala./Hoover HS), tied for third place, leads the Panthers in the tournament. Schambeau shot 72 on Saturday, one shot better than his 73 on Friday, and is at one-over par.

Senior Colin MacLane (Oviedo, Fla./The Master's Academy) is also inside the top 20. MacLane is tied for 18th place after round two after shooting a 76. He is at seven-over for the tournament.

The SAA Tournament will conclude with the third and final round on Sunday.
