Men's Lacrosse announces captains for upcoming 2013 season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team has announced its captains for the upcoming 2013 season, Head Coach Andy Bonasera said today.

This year's captains are:

• Senior attackman Nicco DeRosa (Peachtree City, Ga.)
• Senior goalie Andrew Huffman (Peachtree City, Ga.)
• Senior attackman Matt Ivie (Alpharetta, Ga.)
• Senior midfielder Brennan Ott (Peachtree City, Ga.)
• Junior midfielder Peter Raffanti (Brentwood, Tenn.)
• Junior defensman Josh Todd (Suffolk, Va.)

The Panthers open the 2013 season with an exhibition game against the Auburn University Club Team on Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. in Panther Stadium. BSC will also face the University of Alabama Club Team in an exhibition on Feb. 2 in Panther Stadium before officially opening the season on the road, Feb. 9 against Huntingdon in Montgomery, Ala.
