Strong Start Downs Panthers at Roanoke

SALEM, Va. – Despite tying Roanoke College in the second half, the Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team was unable to recover from the Maroons strong first half start and fell 20-8 on the road Thursday afternoon.


Matt Quill (Fort Mill, S.C./Coker College) had a game and career-high 27 saves.  McHale Schneider (Roswell, Ga./Roswell HS) led the team with two goals.  He also had two assists.


The Panthers remain on the road.  The head to Maryland next to take on McDaniel College at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 25.
