BSC Completes Comeback, Defeats Huntingdon 13-9

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team came back to defeat Huntingdon College 13-9 Thursday night in Krulak Stadium. BSC (3-5) trailed early, but outscored the Hawks 9-4 in the second half to secure the win.

 

Davis Thompson (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes HS) led all scorers with five goals. Braden McCombs (Hoover, Ala./Hoover HS) also had a hat trick.  He finished with three goals and two assists.

 

Hank Harris (Marietta, Ga./Sprayberry HS) earned the start and split time in goal with Matt Quill (Fort Mill, S.C./Coker College).  The pair finished with seven saves each.  Quill, who earned the win, is now 2-5 on the year.

 

The Panthers remain home for their next matchup. They take on Millsaps College at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18.
